“From the beginning of this process (c. Tuesday, January 13, 2026, 18:00) and so far ( Wednesday, January 28, 2026, 10:00) have been recounted over 80% or 2,061 out of 2,557 seats.
So the total number of municipalities that have so far completed the recounting is 30, and have already remained to be counted less than 500 locations belonging to the other 8”, CEC spokesman Valmir Elez announced.
