Undeclared goods worth about 150,000 euros in Vmica

Given the risk analysis and standard control procedures, the vehicle's physical control has been carried out, during which several sacks filled with commercial natural goods were not declared near Kosovo Customs. The estimated value of discovered goods is estimated to be around 15,000 euros.

“During the interview by the customs official, the driver of the vehicle has been asked whether he owned goods or monetary means to declare himself to the customs authorities, but he has declared that he had nothing to submit”, the media report said.

In line with Customs Code and Actis No. 08/L-247, goods are temporarily banned at the Vermica Border Crossing Point, while relevant administrative procedures have been initiated against the case, in order to determine responsibility and enterprise of the legal measures.

At the same time, Dogana calls on all travelers and economic operators to respect the legal obligation to declare goods during the entry and exit from the customs territory of the Republic of Kosovo”, the report said.
