(an hour ago)Kosovo police reported that morto remains of a person who was reported missing in October last year in Malisheva have been found.
Police said that on July 23, 2026, in a mountainous area near the village of Shkoza in Malisheva, several mortore remains were found, allegedly belonging to H.S., a male of adulthood reported missing on October 5, 2025.
“On July 23rd 2026, in a mountainous area near the village of Shkoza, Malishev have been found several morto remains which were suspected of being the person H.S. (male, adult) who was reported missing from October 5, 2025, the case for which the Regional Police Directorate in Gjakova in co-operation with other respective institutions has conducted successive search-saving operations, but without results in its localisation”, it is said in the report.
Mortar remains, police said they were sent for an IML examination.
The victim's “Mortories were sent to the Law Medicine Institute (IML) for due testing, and we have now been officially announced that the examination has ended and after consulting with the state's national waste prosecutor has been handed over to family”, the report said.
The signal reported earlier that it was Halim Ramadan Sopanin, who had been reported missing since the morning of October 5th 2025.
