The American presidential family couple have arrived today in Vlora, accompanied by a delegation.

They first stopped in the Cold Water area, where they reportedly would hold a meeting with an architectural studio to discuss the way the project was implemented and investment on the island of Saban.

Kouchner's visit relates to interest in potential projects on Saban Island and the Zrinec area -- two of the most discussed spaces for strategic investments in recent years.

Kouchner's company has been given to “Investim/Strategic Investatory procedure”, considering the “project a strategic significance for the country”.

Under the decision, this status, which is granted over a 10-year period, is “conditioned with the implementation of tasks, the action plan envisioned in this decision, as well as the finalisation of the co-operation agreement between the parties, validated with special law in the Assembly under applicable legal projections”. /Periscopi
