(an hour ago)Ukraine's president, Voldymyr Zelensky, has announced that he has arrived in the United States of America, where he will hold meetings with President Donald Trump, his team and other officials who may support Ukraine's defence.
In a post, Zelensky said the main priority of the visit is strengthening protection against ballistic missiles and deepening strategic co-operation with the US.
I've already arrived in the United States. Our agenda includes meetings with President Trump, his team and those who can support our defence. Our number one priority is protection against ballistic missiles and strategic co-operation with America. Peace must be approaching,” wrote Zelensky, Kosovo Preress broadcast.
He added that, on behalf of all of Ukraine, he will honour the memory of Senator Lindsay Graham.
