Case “Drenica”, Court declares Sami Lushtaku innocent and others innocent

The Constitutional Court in Pristina has declared a free trial against Sami Lushtak, Ismet Haxjah, Rrustem Rrucolit, Fatmir Mjak, RexhepJota, Skender Tahiri, Sheremet Jashar and Bajram Debrani, over the charge of criminal acts “The participation in an organised criminal group”, “Pegim of the official testimony or procedure” and “Frike during criminal procedure<5>.
The indictment was proclaimed Tuesday by the chairman of the court, Leon Perlasca, reports “Justice Vow“.
According to the judge, the accused are acquitted of all points of the indictment, since they have not proved to have committed criminal acts that were imposed on him.
The eight accused were charged with criminal acts “Taking part in an organised criminal group”, “Pestim of formal testimony or procedure”, and “Request during criminal procedure”.
Otherwise, in this case the trial has continued for a period of 16, 17 and 18 of the indictment against Sami Lushtak, Ismet Haxha, Rrukoli, Fatmir Mjaku, Rexhep Jota, Skender Tahiri, Sheremet Jashar and Bajram Dibrani, for whom the procedure was isolated.
In this case, other points of the indictment were charged: Emruash Thaci, Sehemsi Hajrizi, Sami Lushtaku, Sahit Jashari, Ismet Haja, Mergim Lushtaku, Dardan Geci, Dervisoli Union, Valon Behramaj, Silver Behraj, Yl Blakaj, Gzim Ahmeti, Gevdet Zena, Mervette Hasani-Lushaku, Agim Ukaj, Ismail Dibrani, Sami Djoka and Nejib Shatri.
