Bytyci allegedly had the leader's role in placing results data on the CEC official site, for votes where there are doubts about contradictions.
His lawyer, Prek Kolaj, in a statement to Insider, has said his client had no intention of manipulation of the results.
“Klient has been in the role of the leader who has been tasked with placing data on the CEC site for results. Those votes where there is allegedly no compliance may have stemmed from fatigue, pressure to be counted faster, or even from any misunderstanding during communication with other members of the commission. There has been no intentional tendency or influence by someone else to manipulate or counterfeit the result. Something else didn't say,” said Kolay.
