DNA expert: Marks of Jovan Vicevitics have been found in the lighting fuse found at the scene.

At trial hearing against indictees for attack on “channel Iber-Lepencit”, the second witness, Fatmir Ademi, has stated that during the examination of 50 evidence and DNA samples, they have found compliance with the profiles of indictees Jovan Viqeviq and Dragisa Viqjeviq, the Online Economy reports.
Ademi, who is currently director of the Department for Kim and Biology at the Kosovo Agency for Forenzice, has declared that in a power cable fuse, signs have been found that match Jovan Viqejevqi's DNA profile.
Responding to the prosecution's questions of what evidence were found samples of the defendant's DNA.
“As far as the compliance of people under the S1 S2 figures, is Jovan Viqjevich and the evidence S3 S4 of the person Dragisa Viqejevq. We gave him the DNA report. In conclusion number five, among other evidence, there were three evidence from the site of the incident where mixed DNA profiles were acquired, and we've looked at them manually. In evidence number 4, which is described as a cable fuse measuring 9 meters, during manual inspection, we've noticed the signs of the person with the S1, namely Jovan Viqejevic. Of the 24 genes we've analyzed, in 20 countries we've found signs of S1”, he said.
Ademi has said in this case advanced scientific methods have been used, which are validated and based on written procedures.
We use the most advanced scientific methods, which are valid, and that there are written procedures that each expert uses in the same way. In the concrete case we used the DNA extraction procedure...”, he said.
The case attorney, Bekim Kodraliu, asked the witness about the results of the laboratory in Italy's Rome, where the prosecution had sent the samples for further interpretation of mixed DNA profiles.
I have seen the report and read it, from the report it is clear that the laboratory in Rome has accomplished only the interpretation of our results that we have obtained in Pristina at our” lab, he said.
Asked whether there were any differences or contradictions between the lab results in Pristina and the one in Rome, Ademi said the results were in line.
“As far as the Italian colleagues' report was concerned, there was no contradiction, it was just proven our findings. Their report strengthened our signal that we saw the person's signs in question. Scientificly, they have made the connections of the person S1 into one of the contributors to the 3 person mixer”, he said.
