Arben Hoxha from Pristina for Online Economy says that if there have been vote thefts, justice institutions should act without delay.
If the votes were stolen, there's court and prosecution work here. Those who have caused these thefts must answer to justice. These elections are good as soon as they fix, because Kosovo does not need institutional vacuum. This is a very wrong thing, because this is how we have seriously disappointed the international community, especially the Americans, Germans and English, who have been desperate with us because we have been recognised as a state”, Hoxha says.
He emphasises that Kosovo is lacking state consciousness and that this is hindering the country's development.
Unfortunately, we are lacking state consciousness and that does not lead to any progress. We have to take an example of Americans who have the Constitutions for 300 years, the English that have been in parliament for 800 years, while we have not been able to make a choice. This is misery and horror for us”, he says.
According to him, all those responsible for manipulation of votes must be brought before justice bodies.
As far as vote theft is concerned, those who have caused these problems must appear before the judge, investigators and prosecutor. The police must arrest them. The vote is free, independent and democratic, law and Constitution must be respected, we must have state awareness”, Hoxha points out.
Ismet Gegay for Online Economics also estimates that manipulation of free vote poses a major damage to democracy.
“Of course that such an act has caused great damage, because free vote has been misused. Such a thing has not dared to happen, because the vote is a free expression of citizens and what has happened is really to be tried”, Gegaj says.
He blames certain individual commissioners and groups for the created situation.
“Faji remains an orphan, but the blame is certainly borne by certain commissioners and groups of individuals, even some of those who have competed and the holders of office. For me this is scandalous, a big scandal, because free vote is international human right. If the vote is misused, this is really scandalous”, he says.
Halil Islami for Online Economy, meanwhile, says stealing the vote is a serious violation of citizens' rights and should be severely punished.
And it's certain that the votes have been stolen, because by breaking the people and putting the right vote on them is very bad and very serious. This could be punished for up to six years”, Islam says.
He adds that, according to him, election manipulations have occurred even earlier.
Other “countries we've come out to vote what we have voted for so far, and the votes have been made. P DK, LDK and AAK. Eighty thousand votes were stolen from Albin Kurti, who then had eight deputies removed without the election. People don't know where they got it right or dare vote against the people and against the state. There is no one in the world who acts like these individuals. The people decide, the people vote and no one has the right to misuse the people's documents”, he says.
Allegations of misusing 68 thousand votes of candidates for deputies in Prizren have put the region's Constitutional Prosecutor in motion on 23 January. In a daily action, 109 commissioners have been arrested as suspected of manipulation of votes. Among them are family members and close people of candidates who have been sent to maintenance. Except for counterfeiting the results of the vote, they are suspected of two more criminal acts. /Periscopi
