One of the most courageous voices of sexual violence survivors during the war in Kosovo appears in the magazine “Vogue” within the framework of the international project “Lett '%s Talk About Rape”. This powerful photo project of Jadwiga Bront~ brings to focus the stories of women who have experienced trauma, helping them to restore control over their turquoise through art and self-repression.
Vasfije was only 16 years old when he was abducted and violated by Serb forces during the war of 90s in Kosovo. For years she remained silent, like many other women who faced the same pain. But in 2015, she decided to speak publicly, becoming the first Albanian woman from Kosovo to openly testify to the sexual violence experienced during the war. Since that day, it has become a symbol of resistance and courage, becoming a voice to those who cannot yet speak. /Periscope/
