Ganimete Musliu, chairman of the Commission for Supervising the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (AKI), has said on Wednesday that this parliamentary commission has decided to invite AKI director Petrit Ajetin to report.
This on the issue of reporting on Kosovo Radio Television (RTK), where through sources on February 10th, said “was planning an assassination against Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti while staying in northern Macedonia”.
Northern Macedonia authorities had exposed this report “saying there was no such planning on their territory”.
These Musliu calls the “public counterintact”, demanding that the AKI director clarify it to the public through reporting before the parliamentary commission.
The commission requested that we invite the AKI director to the meeting to announce to us about the case called assassinations or attempted assassinations against Kosovo prime minister. So by next Wednesday the director of AKI will be prepared and put on the commission. Where we will fully discuss the issue of what actually happened in this case, given that there has been public contradiction, we are called to say what is really official and what is in the best light of Kosovo's security”, Musliu has said.
