Krasniqi: Kosovo youth leaving because of inadequate governance

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has held a joint meeting with PDK Branch heads, where they have addressed issues dealing with political developments at the central and local level in the country. “Starting with visits I have made throughout Kosovo, as well as daily meetings that [...]

“Starting with the visits I have made across Kosovo, as well as the daily meetings that have PDK Branch heads with their fellow citizens, we share the common concern for the economic growth of the number of citizens leaving Kosovo due to the incompetent central-level governance that is not supporting municipal projects and failing to deliver any of the many promises that citizens have made, Krasniqi said, forward Reporterienet.

Unfortunately, the figures show that there are young people who have largely lost hope that they can develop their potential by living here”, he added.

Chairman Krasniqi stressed that Kosovo will not be able to take steps forward without the capacities and energy of youth, which is the engine of development and advancement of our state.

He said it is each of us's duty to engage in restoring trust and hope among citizens in the opportunities our country offers.

First The PDK and the PDK Branch heads agreed on the need to expand communication with all citizens, indiscriminately, throughout Kosovo, to see closely the needs and requirements they have, as well as to define the ways of addressing them better and more serious.

Together we can build Kosovo of our dreams a country of high-quality well-being, a country where each citizen lives and is treated with dignity”, he wrote.
