Sinan Vlasaliu confirmed indictment: 24 thousand euros avoided tax on state

Vlasaliu is accused of damaging the state to 24 thousand and 270 euros and 98 cents, avoiding taxes during 2011-2015.
In the decision made on February 16th, 2023, by Judge Naim Krasniqi, where it says the request to cast the indictment is not based on any evidence and that it must proceed with proceedings according to the indictment, writes the Vorim for justice.
In the request filed by Vlasaliu's lawyer, Florent Latifaj has been asked to cast the indictment on the grounds that his defender has clarified that he is not incompatible with the tax submitted by ATK and the State Prosecutor for Fiscal Years 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Since for these fiscal years, he has submitted tax payments he made in the state of America, this period in which he has realised incomes in various countries, while at certain times he has also paid in Kosovo.
The court ruling says there is suspicion based that Vladaliu committed criminal acts as described in the device of the indictment.
“From the proposed evidence in the indictment for the criminal act charged by defendant Sinan Vladaliu presents the well-founded suspicion of having committed criminal work “Avoid the tax”, from Article 313 paragraph 2 concerning KPRK chapter 1,”, is said to be further in the decision.
It also states that the actual description of the indictment device provides information on the location, time, and way of carrying out criminal work and other circumstances, while there is also the legal appointment of the work under KPRK's provisions.
Otherwise, at the session, held on November 18, 2022, accused Vlasaliu has been declared innocent of criminal acts that he is being charged with.
According to the indictment filed on May 2nd 2018, by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina, Sinan Vlasaliu is being tasked with criminal work “Avoiding taxation”.
In the indictment, the defendant Vlasaliu writes, in quality of singer and business owner “N.P.T. The Pristina-based “Tusido”, ongoing for the fiscal years 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 that connect to paying taxes, fees or other contributions to the Kosovo Tax Administration with the aim of illegal profit, the same has not stated or declared in part real circulation from its economic activity.
For this move, he is charged with damaging the Kosovo Republic's budget to a total of 24 thousand and 270 euros and 98 cents.
With that, he is accused of committing criminal work “Tax evasion” from Article 313, paragraph 2 concerning paragraph 1 of the Republic of Kosovo Criminal Code, the work punishable by fines and imprisonment of six (6) months to five (5) years.
