When all believed that Kosovo's liberation was carried out in June 1999, in the presence of forces and international mission, eight months later, in northern Mitrovica the Albanian population was experiencing another horror. It was the Fright Night of February 3rd and 4th of 2000, where 10 Albanians were executed, 1564 families were expelled from their homes, and 11364 people terrified, violently forced to leave to seek refuge for the safety of their lives”, Haxhi wrote on Facebook today.
In this context, she said those who are urging Kosovo to compromise against Serbia are taking revenge.
Serbia has caused many crimes and damages in Kosovo. The people of Kosovo have experienced this in their own skin. Those who seek more and more compromises where only Kosovo should be given something are taking revenge on Kosovo. Kosovo's freedom and state are not gifts, they have been achieved with blood and sacrifice. Glory of justice for martyrs of the night of terror of February 3rd and 4th”.
This statement by Minister Haxhiu comes at a time when Kosovo is being pressured to establish the Association of Serb majority municipalities.
