Trump threatens Iran with new attacks

US President Donald Trump has issued a new warning to Iran, threatening further military attacks unless Tehran bans Allied groups operating in Lebanon.
In a post on his social platform, Trump wrote: <x0Iran must immediately stop his heavily paid forces in Lebanon that are causing problems. If they don't, we're going to hit Iran again very hard, just like we did last week, but even harder,”, writes The Guardian.
The US president's statement comes at a time of high tension in the Middle East, and only shortly after the US vice president, JD Vance, declared that a major “progress has been achieved during the last hours in peace talks between the US and Iran, which are under way in Geneva, Switzerland.
The US administration has not yet provided further details on the nature of these talks, while it remains unclear whether Trump's threats will affect the diplomatic process under way between the two countries. /Periscope/
