Talks begin, Vance does not answer the question about Netanyah

US Vice President JD Vance refused to answer questions at the start of bilateral talks with Pakistani mediators in Switzerland, ahead of discussions with Iranian officials later today.

Vance gave no official comments, but thanked the Pakistani delegation for their participation in the Burgenstock resort, and did not respond when a journalist asked him what his message was to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Otherwise, the Trump administration has expressed growing anger at Israel's ongoing campaign in Lebanon, warning that the growing military attacks between Israel and Hezbollah are undermining the fragile ceasefire talks with Tehran.

Vance told Fox News yesterday that the U.S. and Israel may have <x0 account for how to reach” goals regarding the outcome of the violence in Iran.

This came after he insisted that US President Donald Trump is"the only head of state throughout the world who is charming towards the nation of Israel at this moment".
