Bushat for protests in Tirana: New Albania Inevitable Chapter to Embrace

Former Albanian Foreign Minister Ditmir Bushati has reacted to protests in Tirana, rejecting claims that citizens participating are influenced by external factors or by social networking algorithms.

In his message, Bushati says that protesters are revolting citizens who, according to him, have understood the consequences of policy connections, oligarchy...

The “are not motivated by Iran, nor by algorithms, nor are they less lost in their goals. They are Albanians revolted by the treatment of the homeland as spoils. Aware of the consequences of the harmful alliance between politics, oligarchy, media and organised crime. They are citizens who believe Albania deserves more: more justice, more dignity, more hope and more opportunities for all.

Every passing day strengthens the conviction that New Albania is not just an aspirin, but an inevitable chapter to be embraced. This is a moment that requires deep reflection, wisdom and responsibility”, he writes on social networks. /Periscope/
