British media: Prime Minister Keir Starmer to resign Monday

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is expected to step down Monday and announce a deadline for his departure, “Oobserver” reported, while a government source has stressed that he remains focused on his government duties.
According to the report, Starmer's position has been significantly weakened in recent months and further deteriorated after Friday's developments, when his rival Andy Burnham won a seat in parliament that would pave the way for a possible race for the leadership of the Labusist Party.
Journal writes Starmer has discussed the possibility of resigning with advisers, cabinet ministers, donors and union representatives, as well as his family in Chequers, before a final decision is made.
However, sources within the government say he continues to carry out his duties and has not confirmed his departure.
According to reports, a large number of Labusist Party deputies have publicly demanded his resignation or setting a clear deadline for evacuation, while the domestic situation in the party remains tense after a long period of political discontent and declining public support.
