Disturbing view by Badoci, pollution threatens one of Kosovo's main water sources

The organisation “to clear Kosovo” has raised concerns about the situation created near the dam of Badoc Lake, where the area has, according to it, become a garbage dump.
In a Facebook post, the organisation notes that on March 22nd, on World Water Day, a cleaning action was organised in this area with the participation of volunteers, institutions, organisations, media, and citizens during which large quantities of waste had been removed. According to the organization, however, the situation is still alarming.
“
The organisation calls for urgent measures by responsible institutions, including greater control, prevention of pollution, punishment for pollutants and sustainable solutions for the area.
“To clear Kosovo” warns a new cleanup action, but stresses that volunteers cannot replace institutional responsibility. /Periscope/
