Kamberi: Vucinac could avenge Albanians in Presevo Valley

The only Albanian MP in Serbia's Parliament, Shaip Kamberi, has indicated that the situation has calmed down after the US call to Serbia for troop withdrawal.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, while commenting on the Serbian president's statement, underlined that there is a possibility that Aleksandar Vucic will retaliate against Albanians in the Presevo Valley.

From this point on, he had a call for internationals.

Serbia's “Army has circulated two days on our streets, but later have withdrawn. After the US official stance, things seem to be moving towards normalisation. We're not noticing the military movement. There was no reason to mention Presevo Valley and the possibility of involvement of criminal elements in the attack in the north, as Banjska's action has been carried out by Kosovo police”.

There is the possibility that Vucic is preparing for any revenge against the citizens of the Presevo Valley, so I call on the US, and the QUINT ambassadors to prevent any kind of attack by Vucic”, he said.
