The capital's chief prosecutor under the bill is 15.
For two fewer numbers, however, 13 is the cofficiency of mayors with over 100,000 inhabitants.
12.8 is the cofficient for mayors who run municipalities that have between 70 thousand and 100,000 citizens.
And the mayors of the municipalities, with between 50,000 and 70 thousand citizens, have a 12.6 cofficient.
12.4 is the cofficient for the mayor of the municipality that has 30,000 to 50,000 citizens.
It is estimated to be the mayor of municipalities with between 20,000 and 30,000 citizens.
12 is the cofficiency for the municipality, which has between 10,000 and 20,000 citizens, while the last of the 11.8 cofficiency ranks mayors in which the population number is less than 10,000 citizens.
Under the Law for Rewards, differences between cofficients on the basis of the number of residents will also be made for the head of the Municipal Assembly in each municipality of Kosovo.
The same division applies to Director of the Directorate, Mr. Head of the Municipal Assembly and members of the Municipal Assembly.
Under this law, the capital's deputy chairman will have the Koeficent 13.
While for deputy mayors of other municipalities, the cofficiency is from 11 to 9.8 on the basis of the division of the number of residents in the municipality.
The value of the cofficient through which public officials' salaries are still not officially established, though the Law for Salaries on January 5th was published in the official newspaper following the president's decree. This law is expected to take effect a month after publishing in the official newspaper.
From the Kosovo government in a response to KALLXO.com has indicated that the money value of the cofficient is expected to be established this month.
The co-editor's “Vlera will be appointed this month, that is, during January, based on the whole of the cofficients distributed with the Law of the Salaries” -- said Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu.
The Law on Salaries in the public sector has been adopted in second reading at the Kosovo Assembly on December 22nd, 2022.
On June 30th 2020, Kosovo's Constitutional Court had declared the Law on Salaries in the Public Sector invalid.
Under the decision, the law was not compatible with 11 provisions of the Kosovo Constitution.
On December 6, 2019, the Law on the Salat at the Constitutional Court had sent the ombudsman to assess his compliance with the Constitution. The salary law was passed in February that year.
The law was adopted by the Kosovo government, which was headed by Ramush Haradinaj.
