Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs through a media communique has reportedly seized 50kg of marijuana-type drugs.
According to the Serbian MPB, it is said to be an action where a smuggling ring that started from Albania ran through Kosovo and ended in Serbia has been destroyed.
Five people remain in custody from this action due to suspicions that the same have committed the unauthorised criminal production and distribution of narcotics.
In suspects S.M (1993) and I.Z. (1999) has seized a total of 30kg of drugs until the other A.D. (1980), G.K (1973) and G.K (1981) have found the rest of the marijuana and some cocaine.
As Serbia's Interior Ministry reports, the last three detainees had sent the amount of drugs from Kosovo to Serbia by a car, which was marked with the sign of the “mission. O SBE”'s, Express reports.
These three were arrested until they tried to leave the scene where they were scheduled to leave the shipment.
The suspects have been assigned the detention measure of up to 48 hours, after which criminal charges will be handed over to the High Public Prosecutor in Belgrade”, the report said.
