Minister Elbert Krasniqi visits Rahovecin and Gjakova after the floods

Local Power Management Minister Elbert Krasniqi has started visits to municipal villages that have been engulfed by the floods as a result of the rains that have begun yesterday.

The numerous cloudfalls caused damage as a result of floods in several Kosovo municipalities, so in co-ordination with Prime Minister. Kurti and the respective ministries, I started visiting the municipalities to see the situation and to offer you the necessary assistance”.

Krasniqi has indicated that he has visited the village of Bellacrek, Ratkoc and Randoste of Rahovec as he next visits the municipality of Gjakova, which has been affected by the floods.

“With the head of the Rahovec municipality, Smajl Latifi in the village of Bellacrek, Ratkoc and Radoste closely conveyed the state of flooding to these municipalities. From Rahoveci, we will proceed to Gjakova, where with Mayor Ardian Gjini we will visit areas affected by the floods and damages caused by”, Krasniqi wrote.
