It says: Merro Base
Anyone who feels frustrated by the opening of negotiations has a way of not being understood. She's not talking. Today that Albania climbed to the altar of its marriage to the European Union, these laments of the type “have been delayed” seem like cries of despair.
We know we've been delayed for dozens of reasons between us and the European Union, for our history and the history of the EU, for our identity and that of the EU, and above all because of our leaders and those of the EU.
But today we have reached the day and have no reason to mourn, if we are not depressed by the opening of the negotiations.
And there are two kinds of people that express frustration.
The first and honest one is Sali Berisha, who in his statement accused the European Union of agreeing to open negotiations with Albania at a time when “Edi Rama has established in Albania complete assembly, power to a party, the same as January 1990,”.
So this one deals with the start of negotiations as the European Union's revenge on its political group, and nearly says the EU is returning communism to Albania.
This is right, since unlike others, it is Albania's anti-Western opposition. So he's not in opposition to Eddie Rama as an individual or a rival, but he's in opposition to Albania's pro-Western policy, because he's a “non grata” in the West.
All the press under his control has repeated his lamentation. I saw some televisions that were controlled by him, that had done “leafroom” long enough, as if Albania had invaded a foreign power, not that it started negotiations with the EU, and that's why they blamed Edi Rama.
On the day we have fulfilled all of our goals towards the EU, such mourning is simply deep despair. That there may be many upset ones who keep quiet, but those who cry cannot support themselves.
There is another category and then they hear this Sali Berisha complaint about opening negotiations, and they think they should say some remarks about the delay, say all Albanians don't know how late we are in this process, for all the reasons mentioned above.
Albania's problem is to maintain its way west and not give up, but, which will be the long way, we must all be clear.
Albania is not today a better country why Edi Rama had to be prime minister at the opening of negotiations. Albania is today a better, safer, Westerner and within its historic family, precisely because it is no longer in the hands of its politicians alone.
The key to negotiations with the European Union takes Albanian politicians away from Albania. They are today for Albania, less sovereign than in their home.
And when I say Albanian politicians, I have in mind Eddie Rama, Lulzim Basha and his supporters, and the entire spectrum of small opposition parties that are pro-European.
I don't mind Sali Berisha. It has taken Europe away from our bid list, and today it represents Albania's anti-Western opposition. If these others have the opposition with Eddie Rama and they do well to have it with her, Sali Berisha has it with Albania, from now on, is under the sovereignty of the West, which he has declared an enemy.
He has real and real battle, but of course lost. Others can enjoy freely. Albania of today has joined fate with the West. No one has the power to change the course of history. Neither those in power nor those in opposition to power.
And those in opposition to the West take care of their destiny! /Theme
