The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has written on Twitter for World Press Freedom Day, saying she honours war-wing journalists.
In her brief post, she said that the press freedom index is a “example of our devotion to democracy”.

On World Press Freedom Day, we honor journalists who gave voice to our suffering during the war and those who continue to rise for truth and freedom today. The press freedom index is an excellent example of our dedication to democracy”, Osmani said.
Unlike May 3rd, the World Press Freedom Day is marked. This day has been marked since 1993 by the United Nations General Assembly.
