The Russian blockade of Ukrainian ports has hampered grain shipments, from which the two countries are the main exporters. Russia accuses Ukraine of mining ports and Ukraine has described the Russian position as “quality”.
In a call, Draghi secured Italian government support for Ukraine along with other European Union countries.
