Through a video message in Tuesday's early hours, he criticised nature “Passions of some sanctions, saying the world cannot wait for Russian actions in order to respond.
Zelensky said that if the “strong preventive sanctions” were approved earlier, they could have prevented the invasion.
A large-scale war has started”, Zelensky said. “There have been many suggestions and warnings of stiffer sanctions, such as the embargo on Russian oil supplies to Europe, will be decided if Russia uses nuclear weapons”.
There's just no word. We, the people who are alive, must wait. Isn't everything the Russian Army has done to this day an oil embargo? Aren't they firing phosphorus bombs? A promotion of a chemical object or the promotion of a nuclear power plant is not enough” to establish the oil embargo”, Zelensky said.
He added that he plans to address parliaments of several states this week to ask for more weapons.
“Ukrains should not die just because someone doesn't find the courage to give us the right weapons”, he said.
“Frica always made you accomplice”, he added.
