Kosovo Competition Authority joins international sanctions initiatives against Russia

Requests to address the network's leading bodies to take measures against Russia have been launched after Russia's aggression towards the state of Ukraine began.
The Kosovo Competition Authority had joined this call, sending a supportive e-mail to members of this network.
AKK General Director Sakip Imer has said that Kosovo itself has gone through a war, so recent developments in Ukraine have created tremendous concern for Kosovo citizens.
“On behalf of the Kosovo Competition Authority, as a full-fledged member of the International Competition Network, we support the call made by the leaders of the European Union's other countries' competition authorities to stop Russia from participating in the ICJ. I hope we have the chance to meet at events where we will discuss to deepen the fair competition in our countries”, says the email that Imer sent to the members of this Network.
