The Jerusalem Post quoted an anonymous official of the Ukrainian government as saying that an offer was made through a call this week containing a number of Ukrainian sacrifices.
The official reportedly said Zelensky rejected Bennett's advice.
The source further reports that he claimed the call had been initiated by the Israeli prime minister, who says he told the Ukrainian leader: “if I were you, I would think about the lives of my people and take the offer”.
Zelensky's response, according to the media, was simply: “Listening to”.
But, the report reportedly did not like the advice, the president and his cabinet broadcast Skynews.
“Bennett told us to surrender. We're not gonna do this. We know Putin's offer is only the beginning”, the Ukrainian official said, according to Jerusalem Post.
However, claims that Bennett urged Zelensky to accept the offer from Russia have been rejected by one of the Ukrainian president's advisers Saturday.
This is impossible for political and military reasons”, this adviser wrote.
Even Israeli officials have later denied the claims.
