The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has been hosting the former president of the Republic of Croatia, Stipe Mesic and former president of the Republic of Albania Bamir Topi, where it was stressed that close interstate reports between Kosovo, Albania and Croatia are built on solid historical foundations and traditional mutual respect between the Albanian nation and the Croatian nation.
President Osmani has thanked former presidents Mesic and Topi for their continued personal engagement in support of the Republic of Kosovo, as well as for deepening interstate co-operation between Kosovo, Albania and Croatia.
According to a communique, during the meeting it was stressed that close interstate reports between Kosovo, Albania and Croatia are built on solid historical foundations and mutual traditional respect between the Albanian and Croatian nation.
At this meeting, President Osmani has stressed the importance of close co-operation among the three states, in the face of regional and global challenges and in the function of stability and advancing Euro-Atlantic agendas in the Western Balkans.
Osmani expressed her belief that former presidents Mesic and Topi will continue to be attorneys for the Republic of Kosovo in circles and international forums where they participate.
