These comments come after the increase in the price of electricity, where, according to Kelmendi, this is “the greatest betrayal Prime Minister Kurti made to the people of Kosovo”.
Albin Kurti shouldn't have done this betrayal to the people because:
-to 2016 had staged protests against old electricity prices,
- had rejected KED's privatisation,
- promised to lower the price of electricity.
He had promised not to pay the current for Serbs in the north.”, Kelmendi wrote.
He has further said that Prime Minister Kurti, instead of protecting the interests of citizens, is protecting ZRE's interests, comparing the move with Albanian dictator Enver Hoxha.
Instead of protecting citizens, he's accusing them of spending a lot. But this is not the first time leaders betray their citizens. Enver Hoxha had done the same in Albania. Enver Hoxha used civic sympathy to their detriment and to the detriment of Albania's state.
