With great excitement, young Kosovo Security Force soldiers accepted the task of protecting the state on Friday.
For one year, though, 70 of their ancestors did the opposite.
And they left the army, willingly or unwillingly, for various reasons.
However, according to retired General Xhavit Gashi, at the start of forming the army, this was not described as a problem, as citizens' interest in membership in this institution was great.
So now according to him, besides budgeting, new methods have to be used to teach other reasons for abandoning the KSF.
The reason, even more for the departure, is being said to have members of the local police, so the number that leaves this institution is higher than that of soldiers.
According to the Kosovo Police Union, from January to now 140 policemen left the institution, due to low pay, lack of health insurance and transportation.
Even police officers who have not even been equipped with new uniforms, which normally have to be done twice a year.
From the union, they say all these troubles were shown to the minister, Jelal Svechla, from whom they are expecting reaction.
