Von der Leyen starts the tour of the Western Balkans: Wednesday in Kosovo

On 29 September, Von der Leenen will visit Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia and on September 30th Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This is confirmed by the president's cabinet. Eric Mamer, the European Commission's chief spokeswoman, has indicated that during her visit to the Western Balkan region, President Von der Leyen will reconfirm European prospects for countries in the region and the European Union's commitment to them.
The visit will direct the opportunity to discuss a range of issues, including economic and investment plans for the Western Balkan region and seven-year assistance I PA III 2021-27. The president will also stop at the evolution of each Balkan country in Perêndori, including opening membership negotiations with northern Macedonia and Albania.
