By proposal of Sami Lushtaku, the Skoled branch nominon Fadil Nudra candidate for chairman

The Democratic Party of Kosovo has nominated MP Fadil Noorha candidate for the next chairman of Skyright, following the obstruction to Branch Speaker Sami Lushtaku.

The PDK has announced through a communiqué for the media that it has accepted from the Central Election Commission a request to replace several candidates for the Communist Assembly and replace a candidate for the Communist president.

“The PDK believes in the rule of law and respects the decisions of independent state institutions, and despite countering the Law for Local Elections, within the deadline set by the CEC, has made all replacements required. In these choices, Mr. Sami Lushtaku has been unable to candidacy for the future head of Sqaheraj”, the communique says.

Even though it is preventing him from competing for Sqaheraj Mayor, according to the communiqué, Sami Lushtaku, with the faith of Scikyright citizens, on October 17th, will be close to them in the new PDK government in this municipality.

“Meanwhile, in accordance with the CEC's request, the PDK branch in Skenderaj has unanimously approved MP Fadil Noura's candidacy for future Skyright Chairman. On the other hand, Mr. Lushtaku will continue the legal battle to highlight his constitutional right”, the communiqué says.
