“Experts” of dialogue with Serbia go to the Bislimi meeting with Lajcak and Palmer

During EU Special Representative's two-day visit to Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue and other regional issues of the Western Balkans, Miroslav Lajčák and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, once the special envoy of the United States of America for the Western Balkans, Matthew Palmer, the first deputy prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, for European Integration, Development and Dialogue, Besnik Bislimi, held several meetings with them.
According to the government communiqué, the topics that were affected at these meetings had largely the focus of the development of the new dialogue process and future steps expected to be undertaken.
Several advisers from Leičák's office and some of the experts engaged in supporting the Government in the dialogue process, including Veton Surroi, Blerim Shala of Bernard Nikaj.
The meetings also discussed preparations for the visit to Brussels during the month, with Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi stressing the government's will to engage in a fair, principled dialogue and in the service of citizens and general peace and security.
The deputy prime minister expressed gratitude for the United States' commitment to supporting the dialogue process, which he said is also a signal to the strong and consistent presence of the US as partners in developing and creating a promising future in Kosovo.
