Ismajli has said that this town has an economy damaged by pandemics and that citizens have lost patience in terms of anticoncivic measures when it is known how the measures by politicians themselves were violated at the time of the election campaign.
The incumbent's “government needs to become more serious and go further out of the sovereign's final verdict. The Ministry of Health, it should not further prevent gastronomics, businesses and citizens, especially after the devastating socio-economic situation from pandemic. Our politicians should not be impressed with these categories, and especially on gastronomics, because the pressure of businesses and citizens has been accumulated after gatherings called by political groups themselves in the campaign”, Deputy Chairman Ishmael said.
He said patience has come to an end, and that gastronomers, citizens and businesses no longer wait. Otherwise, the Committee for Management and Prevention of Proliferation of COVID-19, under the leadership of Deputy Chairman Ismajli, has held the meeting to assess the situation for the past two days.
Ismaili said there is an increase of infection in Gjilan in recent days, adding that this proves that the virus is present among us.
We have a significant increase in new positive cases and this proves that the virus is among us. So, I appeal to citizens and businesses that provide services to continue respecting measures, setting the mask, and keeping the distance”, Ishmael said.
The overall mirror in Gjilan since the beginning of the pandemic is the following: out of 12479 samples, 3773 have proved positive, 3464 have recovered, 111 citizens have lost their battle with the virus, 200 cases are active, hospitalised with COVID are 28 people and 212 pending samples.
