DnV: Campaign for February 14th Elections was held in calm atmosphere, anti-Covid measures violated

At the media conference held on Saturday, Vetom Mujaj from DnV has mentioned ignoring anti-Covid measures by political subjects.

He has also said that party meetings and candidates for MPs have been announced in the Communist Commissions.

According to him, political party programmes have distinguished from the past. He also mentioned low representation of women in television shows.

“We have forwarded the main part of the campaign and we think it has been a calm atmosphere with a considerable number of activities and not all have been reported to the” institutions.

” Disrespecting the measures was a suicide. Although many organizations have changed their form, promises have been the continuation of previous trends. Political programs were very late published, while women's participation in activities has been lower than 30 percent. Women's participation has been low even in the media, parties have not offered equal representation. Mujaj on behalf of DnV has called on citizens to come to the polls, while political parties for caution. He said DnV has 498 monitors, while 100 mobile teams will be deployed.

“We like DNV urge citizens to participate in the elections, express their opinion freely and without fear. We have 498 drones ready, we have 100 mobile teams involved. This year we will focus on the parallel number of votes, unlike past practices. Each vote has its value so we have to make sure we vote correctly. Tomorrow we don't stay home, put on masks and vote. DnV calls on parties to show caution to ensure free and fair elections”, Mujaj said.

Regarding the prosperity of the election campaign in Serbian municipalities, Dusan Radakovic from DnV, who said the campaign was conducted peacefully, without any incident. According to him, the Municipal Election Commissions implemented their activities in accordance with the law, the procedures described and in line with epidemiological measures.

Political subjects in these municipalities have held almost no major meetings of over 50 people. The pipelines were in line with the prescribed epidemiological measures and were reported to the Municipal Election Commissions 24 hours ago.

Radakovic added that election campaign activities have been to minimum, and the campaign was conducted mainly on low-intensity social networks.
