The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, the Kosovo Agency for Intelligence (AKI) and the Directorate for Trafficking in Narcotics Investigation, has carried out a broad police action in two locations -- in Pristina and in the village of Babush Ferizaj -- following several months' investigation.

As a result of the operation, about 60 kilograms [60 kg] of narcotics suspected of marijuana has been seized.

Four suspected persons have been arrested in this action: a Kosovo citizen, two citizens of Serbia and one citizen of Albania.



Under the State Prosecutor's decision, suspects have been assigned the 48-hour ban on criminal activity under suspicion of “Bleria, ownership, distribution and unauthorised selling of narcotics, psychotrouse and analogue”.

Two cars and one truck, allegedly used in criminal activity, have also been seized during the operation.

The prosecution has indicated that within the legal deadline it will apply for the appointment of a security measure against the defendants, while stressing that it remains committed to combating crime and strengthening the rule of law in co-operation with the Kosovo Police.

Pristina, 18 June 2026-The Constitutional Prosecutorship in Pristina announces that, in co-operation with the Kosovo Agency for Intelligence (AKI) and the Kosovo Police respectively, the Directorate for Narcotic Trafficking Investigation in Pristina, following the development of several months of investigations, as well as the implementation of separate investigative measures, has developed an action in two locations in Pristina's municipality and in the village of Babus of Feriz municipality, where about 60 kilograms of suspected marijuana are seized.

Four (4) suspected persons, of whom one (1) citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, two (2) citizens of the Republic of Serbia, and one (1) citizen of the Republic of Albania, have been arrested.

Under the State Prosecutor's decision, the suspects have been assigned a 48-hour detention measure because the same are suspected of committing criminal work {Blerja, possession, distribution and unauthorized selling of narcotics, psychotrope and analogue substances, by Article 267 par.3 concerning Article 275 pars. 1.9 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.

During this action have been seized: About 60 kilograms [60 kg] of suspected marijuana substance, two (2) cars, and a (1) truck.

The State Prosecutor, within the legal deadline, will apply for the appointment of a move to ensure the presence of defendants in criminal procedure.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina in close co-operation and co-ordination with the Kosovo Police remains committed to combating criminality and strengthening the rule of law and bringing justice to all who conflict with the law.
