A soldier costs 17 euros a day and is very much a problem for mandatory military service”, Ceku said.
“It can be implemented in the circumstances we have. In the real situation that we have, it is very hard for Serbs to respond to the invitation to serve in the army without legal or arrest and cause unnecessary tensions”, he told RTK.
Ceku says the time has come for a voluntary military service “”.
“is not real, it is not necessary and it is not time. Time has expired from mandatory military service. It's time for voluntary military service”, he explained.
