Haradinaj was arrested on 25 September in Kosovo, and for the same September 26th, it had become known that he had been transferred to the detention facility at The Hague.
According to the communiqué, it is reportedly issued for the arrest of criminal acts against justice administration, for fear of witnesses, revenge and violation of the procedure's secrecy, previously issued in the Kosovo Criminal Code, as included in Article 15we2 of Law No. 05L-53 for Specialised Chambers and the Specialised Prosecutor's Office reports “Justice Trust”.
And, according to Haradinaj's arrest sheet for 26 September, it said there is doubt that at press conferences on 7, 16 and September 22nd, Haradinaj has distributed or made information and non-public confidential documents available to the media concerning the prosecution's work, and is said to have named potential witnesses, that he has provided information about their residence and other personal information.
In addition, it was said that in the aforementioned conferences, he allegedly distributed or made available information to the media about non-public and confidential documents, not public dealing with the work of the prosecution, including the names and personal details of potential witnesses, thus exposing these persons to possible threats to their safety.
