Albulen Haxhiu from Vetevendosje has criticised the Government of Kosovo, which has not pre-empted to secure protective masks for children on the start of the new school year.
Haxhiu through a Facebook post, referring to one of the rules that should be respected with the beginning of the lesson, which is “the parents are obliged to provide the mask for their children”, has said this would be inexistable for many families.
Her full mail:
During this week, parents have been distributed the rules of the start of the new school year under pandemic conditions.
One of these rules says:
The parents are obliged to provide a mask for their children”!
Have the institutions thought about parents who do not have the opportunity to buy protective masks for their children especially in view that the schedule is from Monday through Friday!
There are parents who have more than 1 children, and this will be unbearable for many families.
How can the Government not think about protecting children and caring for them even under pandemic circumstances?
It's been six months since physical instruction was interrupted, and this has obviously affected children and in these circumstances how valuable for children, especially primary learning would be that the state at least initially donated a package of highly used disinfectant and protective mask!
But no, they only care about themselves and their people around them.
