Kosovo is insisting on mutual recognition, while Serbia has not changed its stance.
German expert for the Balkans, Bodo Weber, has expressed sceptical whether this meeting in Washington will bring the final agreement, RTV Duagjini reports.
Weber says the Trump Administration has remained less than two months' mandate and, according to him, hard to reach agreement.

The expert for the Western Balkans sees the presence of President Trump at this meeting as possible.

Serbia's delegation has called claims that mutual recognition will be negotiated in the US as false.
They are insisting that some agreements reached in Brussels should be implemented, and especially the one for the Association of Serb majority municipalities.
