Volunteer tests were conducted Saturday at Finland's Turku Airport for all passengers coming from a flight from Skopje, as authorities found that the two main sources of new choreography infections in Finland were flights from Northern Macedonia (popular 2,077,000). and Bucharest, Family and Social Services Minister Christa Kuru told reporters.
“Epidemia is in the Balkans”, Kuru said, referring to the modest increase in the number of infected persons in Finland, Reuters reported.
Compulsory two-week Karantina and possible testing of the choreography after arriving in Finland will apply to anyone arriving from countries with more than 8 to 10 new cases of COVID-19 for 100,000 residents in the past 14 days, the country authorities said.
Currently, the rule applies to most countries in the world, except for 25 countries, such as Italy, Japan, Greece and Norway, where infection is still small. Last week, the number of infected people in Finland was 2 to 3 per 100,000 inhabitants in 7 days, and by Monday, a total of 7,601 cases and 333 deaths were confirmed.
