The green light comes from the senate: Switzerland Increases Military Presence in Kosovo

After the House of Representatives, even the Swiss Senate has given the green light to increasing the number of Swiss soldiers serving at the Swiss Concontinent Swiss in Kosovo.
This means that this country's government could now deploy up to 300 military personnel for the peacekeeping mission.
Parliament decided that, if necessary, the Federal Council could send additional controls of up to 85 military personnel to Kosovo for an indefinite period, reports Albinfo. ch.
So far, the maximum force had been 215 personnel. During last autumn session, the Senate sought to authorise 30 additional soldiers, but on Tuesday chose the proposal from the Chamber.
Last week, This country's parliament extended the Swiss mission until 2029.
The decision comes at a time when NATO warned of the possibility of gradually reducing its military presence in Kosovo.
