Rama reacts after the video from Basel: It was a private invitation because I drank water with state money.

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after circulation into the social networks of a video conducted at Basel, Switzerland, where claims have been made that the trip has been carried out at state expense.
I was privately invited to Switzerland by ArtBasel, the annual fair of the world's most prestigious art galleries, where my works have been presented. We have traveled and stayed with our spouse for a day and a half, as always on such occasions at our entire expense”, he writes.

A video has been distributed where someone caught me drinking water in Basel, Switzerland, at the expense of the state.
In almost three decades of public service, I have never traveled privately with state money, and the same applies to my family.
In 13 years of prime minister duty, my family and I never went on vacation abroad.
In Switzerland, I was invited privately by ArtBasel, the annual fair of the world's most prestigious art galleries, where my works have been presented. We have traveled and stayed with our spouse for a day and a half, as always at our expense.
But this is a good case at the right time to put a clear point on “ ”:
About twenty years ago, when my skin had not yet been recovered with slander mud and overloaded accusations, I put a pin in public saying that “ka son mother or son of a bitch... to find in my pocket a penny that was earned by honest work”!
Today, two decades later, I am no longer, of course, the 40-year-old unequipped with being the muddy arena of political life, which lost sleep from the burning wounds of slander and criminal charges.
But I proudly say, that sentence, released at the time by pain and shame in front of my people and all those who had entrusted me with the direction of Tirana, stands 100% in its content even today, in the face of all those who have entrusted me with Albania's direction.
And never forget:
Whoever slanders or accuses you without evidence, or does it himself, for which he accuses you, or if he were in your place, therefore also jealousy or hatred, or both of them, believe every foolish thing that comes out of your mouth.
When I see how the world we live in has become more and more thanks to social networks, the valley where the endless thorns of lies multiply at the speed of clicking, and the flowers of truth are overwhelmed by thorns, I always think of the Holy Books, where the slanderer appears even worse than the killer. /Periscope/
