A video has been distributed where someone caught me drinking water in Basel, Switzerland, at the expense of the state.
In almost three decades of public service, I have never traveled privately with state money, and the same applies to my family.
In 13 years of prime minister duty, my family and I never went on vacation abroad.
In Switzerland, I was invited privately by ArtBasel, the annual fair of the world's most prestigious art galleries, where my works have been presented. We have traveled and stayed with our spouse for a day and a half, as always at our expense.
But this is a good case at the right time to put a clear point on “ ”:
About twenty years ago, when my skin had not yet been recovered with slander mud and overloaded accusations, I put a pin in public saying that “ka son mother or son of a bitch... to find in my pocket a penny that was earned by honest work”!

When I see how the world we live in has become more and more thanks to social networks, the valley where the endless thorns of lies multiply at the speed of clicking, and the flowers of truth are overwhelmed by thorns, I always think of the Holy Books, where the slanderer appears even worse than the killer. /Periscope/
