Police officer Ilir Gjonaj's death from Coddy-19, speak by Gjakova Police

Ilir Djoce, police officer of the Speed Response Unit at the Gjakova Regional Police, has died last night as a result of coronary infection.

Police Director for the Gjakova Region, Lumni Graste, has confirmed for Express that 39-year-old has been hospitalised at the Regional Hospital in Gjakova since 10 July.

He says after the deterioration of the situation he has been transported to the QKUKUU, where he died.

We can confirm that our colleague Ilir Gjokaj has passed away last night at QKUK where he has been in medical treatment since 1507.2020. The late man since Friday (10.07,200) has been hospitalised at the regional hospital in Gjakova, while on Wednesday, after the deterioration of the situation has been transported to the infectious clinic at QKUKUK where we were reportedly living late last night by IKSHP. The late man was an official in the reaction teams at the Police Station in Gjakova”, Graish said.
