Kosovo citizens living in Canada are not being allowed to travel to Pristina

The Kosovo General Consulate in Canada through an announcement has said Kosovars who do not have Kosovo citizenship are not allowed to travel to Pristina.

All persons not allowed to travel have had no citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo, but only Canadian citizenship”, it says.

Dear fellow countrymen,

Today we have reported that some of our fellow countrymen are not allowed to travel from Toronto's Pearson Airport to Pristina.
All people who were not allowed to travel had no citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo, but only Canadian citizenship.
We have announced long ago the Toronto airport authorities that there is no division for Canadian states to travel towards the Republic of Kosovo. So until today, no problem has been presented for all passengers who have booked tickets to Kosovo.
We're in constant contact with Canadian authorities so this stop for passengers can be avoided as soon as possible.
We also recommend that all of our countrymen only possess Canadian passports, to the extreme, be equipped with new documents.
