The Committee for Emergency Management in Gjilan, under the prevention of the global pandemic, Covid 19 and based on recent results from the National Institute of Public Health, requires respect for health institutions' recommendations and decisions by the Kosovo government so that we can have as few positive cases and normalisation of the situation as possible.
The mayor of the Gjilan municipality, Lutfi Haziri, has announced that on 117th day of facing global pandemic, there are a total of 186 positive cases, of which 129 have been completely healed, 53 cases are still active and under constant monitoring by medical teams and unfortunately 4 citizens have lost their lives so far.
On the basis of his announcement, it is known that even 46 samples are pending testing at the National Institute of Public Health and their results will be published these two days.
Chairman Haziri has asked the citizens of Gjilan to further the level of care they have the maximum because, as he has said, nothing has been completed and respect for health institutions' recommendations for safeguard clauses is the only solution and necessary in front of the unforgiving enemy Covid-19.
