Economic recovery after the end of the pandemic caused by Coronavirus will be a challenge for Kosovo, when the damages presented at the local and global level are taken into account, experts on economic issues say.
Economic Affairs Knower Mustafe Kadriaj has said that the Hoti Government has two ways ahead of itself, dialogue and economic recovery, which, according to him, will define the future of this government.
I think the new government and Prime Minister Hoti appreciate two agendas that will follow, and in some way detify its political future. Top of the agenda will be the talks that they will be conveyed with great resistance from the opposition”.
I appreciate that even in this case the second challenge will be economic recovery. There will be problems because Kosovo is only emerging from a pandemic that has identified its economic problems, which in this case the new government has the last time the steps must be taken since there is now also legitimacy”, he said.
Although the institutions are now complete, Kadriaj says Kosovo must enter international debt, in order to maintain an inflation.
And if that does not happen, he says the economic future in Kosovo will be extremely dangerous.
The “also has the right to take even some soft credit from outside international institutions to recover the economy, because if we continue without receiving any financial support from us, inflation can increase that will be spent on consumer baskets and not talk about textiles, and a large divide will be made between high levels and low”.
“should still enter international debt for the fact that I keep inflation as low as possible, so if we don't get any credit, the economic future for this country will be extremely dangerous”, he said.
Even Gent Sejdiu, chairman of the Board of Directors at the Free Market Economics Institute (IETL), estimates that state intervention should take place as soon as possible.
As he spoke of it, Sejdiu Pako of Regeneration should be consulted with all other organs.
The “is very important that if we don't act within this month as soon as they have planned, then the crisis will only increase. Given that the pandemic is still active and if we haven't learned from the consequences that have been in these months, I think much more will be ruined for business and individual individuals. The package should be as fast as possible, with consultation and all other bodies”, he said.
“Qes should be viewed as many businesses as possible. The focus should be on businesses, especially the real estate sector of Horeca, which have had greater impacts”.
And yet their concern will be that sales are not going properly, that investment still has reservations to start and still is an uncertainty. If it doesn't take place in these months, the collapse will be the big bajagi”, Sejdiu said.
