Family heroes' proposals towards Thaci and Wessel call it a tendency to tarnish the KLA

Those who gave their sons and brothers for Kosovo's freedom are being surprised by the fact that the KLA leaders are being accused of pure war and liberation against a vicious occupation that committed killings and massacres against the innocent Albanian population and the chief of these Serb crimes to this day remain unpunished.

They say instead that suits had to be filed and brought to justice by numerous Serb criminals who, in the clothing of the Balkan butcher Slobodan Milosevic, killed and slaughtered women, children, innocent elders, only because they were Albanians and lived on their centuries-old lands.

Since the day he received news of the draft indictment against the two top KLA leaders, the hero's father, Hakif Zejnullahu, Sabit, in a confession to Kosovo Press, says that neither sleep can do it properly.

While dismissing the charges as false, Zejnullahu says instead of bringing to justice the guilty of crimes committed by the Serb side in the country, the boys who formed the KLA are being tried.

These things are untrue where (the Special Court) are taking this example from Serbia... To condemn a man that buildeth his house and his life: it is a great pity. These guys who formed it. The KLA in all Kosovo countries has been working for the release of the watan... Today the world has been driven to its feet and instead of giving the guilty what it has done here, they have caught us treading. It's a terrible thing... I've been waiting really bad for almost all night I haven't slept out of embarrassment. We always condemned, violated, I don't know until you're going like this”, said hero's father, Hakif Zeinhua.

Unjust and unacceptable, the proposal against Thaci and Wessel considers the hero's nephew Zahir Pajazit, Naim. He says the Kosovo Liberation Army has fought a clear fight for the country's freedom and independence. He says the Special Court is not fair because it deals only with crimes allegedly committed by the KLA and is not examining crimes committed by Serb forces in Kosovo.

A misdemeanor has been filed for the fact that the Kosovo Liberation Army has been an army that has protected its country, its people, has descended from the people leaders of war and all KLA soldiers, whether the president or Kadri Veseli and all those who have fallen for Kosovo's freedom, have fought for the rights of an independent and sovereign state... This court is unfair, because it only condemns the crimes they have claimed they committed. KLA... people who have fought for Kosovo ever and under no circumstances will agree to be stained because no one can stain it KLA”, he said.

Edmond Hoxha's sister, Fakete Hoxha, relates the experiences she has enjoyed from Serbian forces to her brother's murder over the years. She says that the proposal-actus towards Thaci and Wessel has heavily burdened them as a witness family.

It asks the court not to approve this indictment proposal against the two leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, as Hoxha says through this act is trying to tarnish the KLA war.

I, as a family, have experienced serious years of Serbian rule since 1981 with imprisonment, differentiation, then killing my brother since the first days of the Kosovo Liberation Army. The act of liberation Ramush Haradinaj and Fatmir Lima has led us to a more difficult position. While this recent indictment against two key Kosovo Liberation Army men has burdened us as a family, I believe not only as a family, but all of Kosovo's people are two who since the early days of their youth have fought and fought a clear liberation war for their people. He must file charges for the genocide that Serbia has committed against our people... I believe and I hope very much in court that it will not approve such an indictment that this is clearly a KLA stain”, she said.

News of the proposal-accusa by the Special Prosecutor's Office came days before the Kosovo-Serbia meeting in the White House. The head of state was announced as he was traveling to Washington, until later he cancelled his participation.

President Thaci has rejected the proposal against him and Wessel, saying he has not committed war crimes and that the only law that violated him has been that of Balkan butcher Slobodan Milosevic.
